Çok Çok Thai Restaurant & Bar, Istanbul

 

The design of çok çok blends in elements from Thai and Turkish culture and architecture. Both traditions are reflected in the restaurant's exterior as well as interior, thoughtful details can be observed at every corner. The façade built in mid steel and glass is a reference to the structure of traditional Thai wooden houses.

 

The façade, located at an important corner of Tepebaşı, tilts at various angles to create a pleasing and playful effect of light and reflections. They delightfully incorporated details found in traditional architecture, but interpreted in a contemporary way.
