House at Ridout, Singapore (2013)

House at Ridout is an outhouse located next to an existing house and serves primarily as a new home for three young adult children to stay close to the parents. The key functions of the house are organized simply as separate stacked volumes in different directions with spaces created in between, The volumes are designed like pavilions in the garden, walking around the house, you are constantly connected to the land- scape surrounding it.

萊道新宅是主屋旁側加建的一所工「別院」，也是父母為三位成年孩子在近距離設立的「新家」。住宅功能是幾個疊在一起的方盒子，不同方向的交疊創造出意想不到的空間。建築個體在寬闊的綠草地上有如國中廊亭，身在其中到處都可以觀景。
